We were delighted to see old pal, Alan Gatward who showed up in his lovely Stinson. We did a little maintenance and a little catching up and then he and his bride were off to the High Sierra Fly in.

In case you missed it, Airshow Pilot is out! The first printed copies arrived in the mail over the weekend and we're pretty excited for you to have a look.
It's been mostly maintenance at the Squirrelwerks. Eventually, we'll have a couple of trainers up and ready, but right now I'm spending a bunch of my time on maintenance…
My pal, Jim Boeckl, came out from Medford with his lovely Aeronca Champ and we flew for a couple of days.
Stay tuned, folks. My latest book, Airshow Pilot , is coming soon! It will be available via Amazon in both printed and Ebook formats.
One of the things that has kept me from putting the newsletter out is the fact that my old pal, Steven Brown came up from Ashland to help me use a new editing program and to put together a video on my old Airshow Act, The Acme Duck and Airshow Company.
The last two weeks saw some interesting flying. I think I'd really be remiss if I didn't point out our final Ladieslovetaildraggers Scholarship winner's flights while she was here. Kendra Hart came to Tailwheel Town and showed why Judy Birchler chose her as a scholarship winner.
Many thanks to Walt Lasecki of Outlaw Aviation for letting me use his nice Cessna 140 while mine is undergoing re-build. And to Elana Gordon, who, after a long period of not flying, has decided to get current. Wow, what a talent she is! I'm delighted to have someone who is so good to really concentrate on.
We created a new private pilot at Outlaw Aviation. It was a great moment for me, since I'd flown with Luka Perle in the Big Yellow glider when he was just a pup a few years ago.
Talk about timing! I had a really nice visit from a guy who kind of epitomizes the kind of fliers who visit Tailwheel Town. You see, the people who come here are usually good pilots who just want to get better. In the case of Alan Christy, it was sweetened by the fact that Alan has a really nice little PA12 and we flew it for a couple of days.
